About Sun Hive

Sun Hive is a movement in El Paso. We are bringing the joy back into learning while empowering students, teachers, and families to build the future together.

Our Mission

To build a learning community that empowers students to enrich their future.

Together, we will inspire a lifelong love of learning and a desire to impact the world.

Our Methodology

  • We provide a personalized, thematic, and hands-on learning experience.
  • We foster strong community ties to give students real-world context.
  • We maintain small class ratios to ensure every child is seen.

Meet the Founder

Megan Jimerson

Sun Hive was created from a deep belief that educating the next generation is an act of power. When given intentional, high-quality, and scientific education, children gain the ability to shape their own futures.

Sun Hive exists because students deserve more than an education focused solely on testing or outcomes. They deserve schools where learning is meaningful, where curiosity is protected, and where they are seen as more than data points. By investing in children, we invest in the future they will one day lead.

The Heart of Sun Hive

Our philosophy is simple, but deep.

Intentional Design

The heart of Sun Hive is a commitment to intentional education. We believe learning should be designed with purpose, grounded in research, and responsive to the real needs of students. Every decision we make begins with the question of how it serves children as learners and as people.

The Whole Child

Sun Hive values students as whole individuals. Academic growth matters, but so do confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. We work to create an environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and engage deeply with their learning.

Our Responsibility

We believe that education is a responsibility and a trust. When students are given high-quality learning experiences, they gain the tools to shape their futures and contribute thoughtfully to the world around them. That belief guides our work every day.
